Care Capital is a life sciences venture capital firm based in Princeton, New Jersey.  We manage approximately $500 million and we are currently investing our third fund, Care Capital Investments III. 

We invest in biotechnology and specialty pharmaceutical companies that are developing pharmaceutical assets and whose lead products have reached late-preclinical or early clinical development.  Our typical initial investment size is from $5 to $15 million. 

We bring to bear many strengths in evaluating potential investment opportunities and assisting management in addressing scientific, strategic and operational issues.  Our partners have unmatched drug development experience and have been responsible for the development, approval and commercialization of drugs having in excess of $50 billion in peak sales.  We take a very active role in our investment companies and we work energetically with management to develop and grow their businesses.
